Cake

I made a quick and small birthday cake for my little girl and another one for the next day 'Sinterklaas'.
Small because I didn't want any leftovers and quick because the guests arived soner than I expected.

It's been far to long ago, my last blog.
So time to show al progress and FO's.

First my monkey socks.


I liked this pattern and I liked this yarn. These are socks I will wear a lot.

I liked the yarn (opal bambus) so much that I made another project with it. A little cardi for my little girl.


I made up the pattern myself. My first seamless project. I knitted it bottom up, but I won't do that again. I found it difficult to knit the parts where body and sleeves come together. It's impossible to just keep on knitting, you have to make loops in the circ between the stitches to be able to go on. But the result is good. I like it a lot.

And finally I picked up sewing again. A shirt for my little girl. To bad she allready grew out of it. But it didn't take a lot of time to make.


Next time I'll try to show the progress on the Peter Pan sweater and the winter coat I am sewing for my girl.
