What's up?

What happened in the 'freubel' field.
The Peter Pan sweater is slowly progressing. The yarn is very acryllic and although I didn't care in the past, now I don't like to knit with it anymore. Also knitting with several balls of yarn on your lap is not my favorite. So I made the deal with myself that I should knit at least 4 rows each day to have it ready before winter sets in.

I tried entrelac and created a dish cloth. It's fun to knit all those little squares together. The result still needs some finishing and will be a nice 'snoetenpoetser' then (cloth used to wipe little faces).

New on my needles is another Vog-on. In solid blue this time. I like wearing the pair I knitted in July in my sandals, so I felt I needed another pair.

Stitch markers

Some weeks ago I got a kilo of glas beads at 'marktplaats', kind of ebay.



It are al different beads, lots of them.

Yesterday I finally sat down and made me some stitch markers.



This is fun to do, so now I have to look on the internet for more examples.

Norway

When we were in Norway this summer, I did see some very nice knitted things. So I tried to find some pattern on the www. And found some.

For my little girl.

For myself.

And mittens (maybe the socks too).


All patterns can be found at the Drops site and are available in various languages.

Little socks

As promised a foto of the socks I knitted for my little girl.

Her foot was not planned to be in the picture, but just happen to be there when the camera finally took the picture.

They are knitted with a leftover from my Vog'on socks, Regia Bamboo.
The pattern I used is the basic pattern from Wolhalla.

They are a little bit to big for the little feet in the picture, but she can use them this winter.

In English from now

From now on I'll try to blog in English, so I can connect to knitting rings.

I made a list of things I still want to make. The Peter Pan sweater for my little big boy is on the needles now (two rows already).
Yarn for the blue cable sweater for myself is waiting in the livingroom. All the other plans are listen so I won't forget them.

Back again

Zo, dat is eventjes geleden. Nou ben ik een tijdje op vakantie geweest, maar zo lang nou ook weer niet, helaas.

Voor de vakantie kwam er niet veel uit mijn handen dat het melden waard was. Pas twee dagen voor vertrek waren mijn Vog'on sokken klaar, toen geen tijd meer om te bloggen.

Maar hier zijn ze:


En ik ben best tevreden met het resultaat, niet zozeer met de foto. Wellicht later nog een betere, bij daglicht.

Op vakantie is er nog wel wat gebreid. Van het garen dat over was twee paar sokjes voor Aniek, ook nog te fotograveren bij daglicht. Maar het zijn gewone rechtoe rechtaan sokjes.

En het sjawltje dat ik op de pennen had is uitgehaald. Dat garen gebruik ik nu voor snoetenpoetsertjes. Eigenlijk om nieuwe steken uit te proberen en dan in een nog bruikbaar formaat. Heeft het na het breien ook nog enig nut. Twee zijn er al klaar, foto's ook nog te maken.

Ga nu weer snel verder met het patroon van een Peter Pan trui voor Kevin. Doeii..
