Kashmir

During my norwegean knitting course I was looking for other stranded knitting projects. And I found this. Love the pattern and the used colors.
I could find the same yarn in a shop on the internet, but the pattern was out of print. E-bay could not help me here.

So I mailed the Dale off Norway people in Norway and they were so kind to send me a copy of the pattern. It is in Norwegean, but I'll manage.

A picture of the progress I made.

Easter egg paint part two

Remember this?

It knitted up like this:

I think it worked out very nice, but too girly for my son. So they will have to wait till my little girl can use them.

cake anyone?

A few weeks ago I followed a workshop from a friend with some other friends. We had a go on puzzle cake decorating. It was a fun afternoon and the cakes were wonderfull.
This was mine.

And it tasted very good.

So now I had to try it at home.

Next week one for fathersday.

Oh my ..

It has been way to long. Ok, my ravelry is up to date, but that's no excuse for neglecting my blog.

Let's show some FO's:
First my little cardigan for the nordic knitting course.

Finished with Chinese cord closures.

And my norge 2000 for the little man.

Very nice yarn to knit with (lana grossa merino 2000). And it will probably still fit next winter.

And the last one are my toe up, magic loop, two at the same time socks.

Finally finished. When the heels were done it got boring. But no second sock syndrome here.
